The Barcelona Science Park (PCB) has as one of its strategies the organization of educational and informative activities that aim to boost the scientific culture of the general public and foster a scientific vocation among young people. In this way the Park seeks to facilitate the participation of society at large in this new ‘knowledge revolution’, which is the driving force behind our current and future society.

To this end the PCB has established innovative communication channels to promote dialogue between the public and researchers; the message it aims to get across is that of ‘living science’, in other words, the research that is currently being carried out by the Park’s research centres and companies, as well as by other institutions.

Currently, the park offers more than 120 annual outreach activities that involve 6,000 people, in the framework of its “Research in Society” program. This program also offers on lineeducational resources throw two
