The Marine Geosciences Group publishes a study on ice streams and polar icecaps of the past

The relationship between ice streams and the planet's climate change in the past is the main axis of the article «Stemming the flow of climate change», published in the journal International Innovation and signed by scientists including Angelo Camerlengui, ICREA research professor of the Department of Stratigraphy, Paleontology and Marine Geosciences of the University of Barcelona and member of the GRC Marine Geosciences research group, with offices at the Barcelona Science Park and directed by Miquel Canals. This work originated from the project Neogene Ice Streams and Sedimentary Processes in High-Latitude Continental margins, NICE-STREAMS, of the International Polar Year (IPY), which is coordinated by Angelo Camerlenghi.
