IDtrack organizes Midat, a new space for identification, mobility and traceability technologies

MIDAT is a meeting point for businesses, representatives from public organizations, academic institutions, entrepreneurial associations and top experts, which aims to ascertain and gain deeper insight into all the possibilities that On October 27 and 28, the first edition of MIDAT, the International Show of Mobility, Automatic Identification and Traceability will take place at the Palau de Congressos de Catalonia, located in Barcelona. MIDAT is a pioneer initiative and joint effort of the Catalan company –located at the Barcelona Scientific Park- and DATACollection, an Italian company, both the primary promoters of AIDC (Automatic Identification and Data Capture) in Spain.

MIDAT is a meeting point for businesses, representatives from public organizations, academic institutions, entrepreneurial associations and top experts, which aims to ascertain and gain deeper insight into all the possibilities that AIDC offers in multiple market sectors, thereby making it a meeting for professional and technological updating of great interest for those in charge of business processes related with these technologies.

MIDAT will host five seminars – RFIDtrack’09, LOGIStrack’09, MONEYtrack’09, SALUDtrack’09 and VOZtrack’09– aimed at analysing real cases, solutions and specific aspects of each technology and sector. The programme –organized entirely by IDtrack, a company dedicated to the analysis and dissemination of new state of the art AIDC technologies- will enable participants to choose from over 25 hours of free practical training.

SALUDtrack”09, stands out within these technical conferences. This conference will take place on Tuesday October 27. It consists of a series of presentations and workshops addressing the latest identification and traceability trends and techniques in the hospital, pharmaceutical and biotechnological sectors, in order to achieve optimized management of patients, medical staff, instruments, and health care and pharmaceutical products, amongst others. The program will be moderated by Elena de la Campa Alonso, director of Organization and Systems at the Agrupació Catalana de Establiments Sanitaris (ACES). SALUDtrack’09 will also dedicate a special space for the digitalisation of all processes to create a “paper-free” hospital.
