Hoffmann Eitle Madrid & Barcelona celebrates 10 years as a benchmark in biotech and health ecosystem

Hoffmann Eitle Madrid & Barcelona will celebrate at BioSpain 10 years of advising life sciences and health companies in the creation, protection and defence of their Intellectual Property (IP) rights. The Spanish team of the German group Hoffmann Eitle, with offices in Madrid and the Barcelona Science Park, has, at present, more than 30 professionals with extensive experience in evaluating patent portfolios and issues relating to freedom-to operate and due diligence and advice in all legal and technical matters concerning patents, patent applications and supplementary protection certificates (SPC’s).

As a subsidiary of Hoffmann Eitle -one of the most prestigious IP law firms, founded in 1892 by Emil Hoffmann, with headquarters in Munich and present in eight European cities-Hoffmann Eitle Madrid & Barcelona are led by Joachim Renken, president; Gustavo Fúster, general director, and Silvia Bertran, director of the Barcelona office. The more than 30 experts who work in this Spanish offices are part of a global team comprising more than 130 IP professionals in five countries (Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and UK).
