APTE, a network of which the PCB is a member, has 47 partners

The 3rd General Assembly of the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE) took place on Thursday September 23 in Zamudio (Vizcaya). This event drew together representatives from the nearly 50 parks that are members of the APTE, including the general director of the Barcelona Science Park, Fernando Albericio, and the managing director of the Network of Science and Technology Parks of Catalonia (XPCAT) and delegate of the President of the PCB, Joan Bellavista.

The presentation of the recently inaugurated Techno Park-Motorland, which has joined the Association, took place during the conference. The addition of the new member makes 47 operative members in this network, which has gradually grown in the past few years and which has 33 affiliate members.

The vice-councilor of Innovation and Technology of the Basque Government, Joan Goicolea, and the secretary of Science and Innovation of the Ministry of Science, Juan Tomas Hernani, who made the closing remarks of the event, were present at the Assembly, which was held in Zamudio in order to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Vizcaya Technology Park.
