The GAEM ‘Value Company’ Certification is launched

GAEM Foundation, based in the Parc Científic de Barcelona Science Park, has launched the GAEM ‘Value Company’ Certification, recognising the most avant-garde companies committed to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and social well-being. With this seal, the foundation aims to continue promoting biomedical research to cure multiple sclerosis and contribute to raising awareness of the importance of innovation and science in our society.

The GAEM Foundation was established in 2006 by a group of people affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) to promote research and biomedical innovation for the early detection and cure of the disease. The Project Accelerator Programme, a unique model in Europe among MS patient support entities, has already succeeded in getting two biomedical investigations into clinical trials to increase the hope of a cure for people suffering from MS (more than 55,000 in Spain and 2.5 million worldwide).

All this has been possible through the support of institutions, companies and individuals who firmly believe in innovation and research as the key to future well-being.

Today the foundation offers companies a new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the GAEM ‘Value Company’ Certification, a designation for entities that have innovation in their DNA, are one step ahead of their competitors and work for a better future.
