The AQR research group has been selected to carry out the European Union project «Knowledge, innovation and territory”

The Regional Quantitative Analysis research group (AQR-IREA) of the University of Barcelona- an organisation associated to the Barcelona Science Park- has been selected to carry out the European Union project entitled «Knowledge, innovation and territory », under the framework of the European Spatial Planning Observation Network. The AQR-IREA group will work in collaboration with other research groups from universities such as the Polytechnic Institute of Milan, the London School of Economics, the CRENoS Italian research centre (Sardenya) or the University of Cardiff.

Specifically, the research work to be conducted by the AQR-IREA group will focus on the analysis of the sector dimension of innovation, the relational dimension (the one dealing with communication amongst economic stakeholders) and on the analysis of the impact of inventor mobility on the innovative capacity of the regions.
