Institute of Andorran Studies Presents Research Projects at the PCB

To mark its move to the Barcelona Science Park (PCB), the Institute of Andorran Studies has presented its research activities to the PCB research community. The event took place in the Fèlix Serratosa Conference Room and was presided over jointly by Juli Minoves Triquell, Spokesminister for the Andorran Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism, Culture and Universities, and President of the Institute of Andorran Studies, and by Màrius Rubiralta, Rector of the University of Barcelona.

The Institute of Andorran Studies is the official research body of Andorra. Its activities revolve around two research centres, CENMA (Snow and Mountain Research Centre) and CRES (Centre for Sociological Research).

The directors of the two centres, Montserrat Mases and Joan Micó, made a short presentation on current research projects with the aim not only of sharing the activities of the Institute of Andorran Studies, but also of exploring potential areas of collaboration with other organisations at the PCB.
