9th annual “One day at the PCB!” Instagram photo contest

For another year running (and that makes nine already!), the PCB launches its “Un dia al PCB!” photo contest. As in previous years, you can submit photos not only of research, but also of people and equipment, the Park’s spaces (both indoors and outdoors), everyday occurrences relating to your day-to-day work at the facilities, photos showing the PCB’s commitment to sustainability etc. In short, we are looking for photos that best sum up just how vibrant and active the Park’s Community is.

Starting today, you can publish your photos on Instagram using the hashtag #undiaalpcb2023. To enter your photos in the contest, fill in this form for each photo you wish to submit. The photos will also be displayed on the plasma screens in the reception areas of the Clúster and Torres R&D&I buildings.

Images that have been retouched and edited with any editing software, including the assistance of artificial intelligence, will be considered. We believe that current technology opens up endless possibilities to transform and enhance your photos, allowing participants to explore new creative horizons. If you are a fan of digital editing or artificial intelligence, do not hesitate to unleash your imagination and submit your works.

The winning photo will be revealed on 21 December during the Park and its Community’s pre-Christmas event, and it will take pride of place on the Christmas card that will be sent out to the entire Community.

A choice of four different prizes is available, of which the winner will be able to select one:

  • Option A: A €150 voucher for the Altair travel bookshop.
  • Option B: A weekend at a country house hotel to the value of €150.
  • Option C: A restaurant voucher to the value of €150.
  • Option D: A wine and craft beer hamper to the value of €150.

There will also be a prize for the second most nominated photo. We’d love you to take part! Good luck!

► The deadline for entries is 17 December 2023.
