PCB’s Core Scientific Services Expands Facilities

The Core Scientific Services unit at the Barcelona Science Park (PCB) announces the opening of the Sala de Lupes, a new cellular biology incubation and observation area, located on the lower ground floor (PS1A23) of the PCB's Modular Building. The addition not only expands lab space at the PCB, but also increases the equipment available to research groups dedicated to the area of developmental and cellular biology.

The new lab offers seven magnification devices and three incubation chambers to meet the increased requests being received by Core Scientific Services. The expansion will expand incubation facilities by 40% and observation capabilities by 80%.

The opening of the new facility reflects the commitment of the PCB’s Core Scientific Services to adapt to the changing needs of the laboratories located the Barcelona Science Park.
