Clinical Applications of Nanotechnologies in the Field of Cancer

Catalonia and the French regions of the Grand Sud-Ouest, the Auvergne, and the Rhône Alpes are well known for their cutting-edge projects in the clinical application of nanotechnology in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. The clinical and technological researchers in this area have created a collaboration network, and a number of teams are working together on pluridisciplinary projects. On 28 and 29 January, a seminar entitled Clinical Applications of Nanotechnologies in the Field of Cancer will take place in Montpellier. At this international meeting, researchers, doctors, and industry representatives currently working on different projects throughout this geographical area will come together both to report their latest results and to move forward on new joint initiatives. The seminar is being organized by the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC), the Cancéropôle GSO (Toulouse, Grand Sud-Ouest), and the Cancéropôle CLARA (Lyon, Rhône Alpes-Auvergne), with the support of InNaBioSanté.
