The 2019Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, which will take place from March 25 to 31, is a remarkable edition for the excellent participation, with ciclysts as the World Champion Alejandro Valverde, el four times winner of the Tour de France, Chris Froome, or the Catalan Marc Soler, among others. The expectation to live the race will be total, with a television media broadcast that in 2018 reached 190 countries through 30 international broadcasters.

In this 99th edition of the “Volta”, GAEM Foundation have visibility with billboards and will also be present at different points along the route to inform the public about the projects under way of the GAEM Accelerator Programme, as about the disease and the consequences that it causes to the patients.

One of the most significant projects for the organization, and related to sport, is “I give my steps”, a charity and inclusive campaign that wants to reach 1 million euros to impulse the Multiple Sclerosis.

Through this collaboration, Fundación GAEM strengthens its commitment to promote a healthy lifestyle and to raise awareness in society about the added burden of living with this autoimmune and degenerative disease of the nervous system.
