The Barcelona Science Park hosts the “CIBER-BBN-Company in Drug Release” Blog Post

On December 1 and 2 the Barcelona Science Park (PCB) will be hosting the “CIBER-BBN-Company in Drug Release” Forum, which aims to promote collaboration between the members of this research consortium –the Biomedical Research Networking Center in Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine (CIBER-BBN)- and the industry. The following speakers will participate in the Forum’s opening ceremony, which will take place at the PCB’s Antoni Caparrós Auditorium: Josep Samitier, associate director of the CIBER-BBN; Jordi Quintana, Technical Director of Scientific Business Development of the PCB and head of the PCB’s Drug Discovery Platform, and Ramón Mangues, researcher at the Research Institute of the Santa Creu i Sant Pau Hospital of Barcelona, Oncogenesis and Antitumoural Agents Group.

The Barcelona Science Park to host the Consolider Meeting on Health and Biomedicine Blog Post

Last Friday March 13, the Barcelona Science Park (PCB) hosted the “Consolider Meeting: A Source of Innovative Ideas on Health and Biomedicine”. The workshop –with free admission and organized by the PCB and the Directorate General for Programmes and Transfer of Knowledge of the Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICINN)- was inaugurated by the rector of the University of Barcelona, Didac Ramírez; the director general of the MICINN’s Office of Programs and Knowledge Transfer, Otilia Mo; the coordinator of the Research and Innovation in Health Sciences Programme of the Ministry of Health of the Government of Catalonia, Carles Miquel, and Jesús Purroy, director of Research and Innovation of the Barcelona Science Park
