The Park launches a new search engine that can filter companies by sector, subsector and area of specialisation

The Park has launched a new business search engine on its public website. This new feature will significantly improve how users can explore and find out about the 125+ entities that form the Park’s Community thanks, to its diverse levels of specificity. The search engine is easily accessible from the main menu of the homepage of the Park by clicking on the Community tab.

The tool still maintains the initial filter that allows users to select between companies, research centres, non-profit organisations or the University of Barcelona’s services, departments and groups, but now with an additional option to search by sector, which includes 11 categories and their various related subsectors, and totals over 130 entries in all. The third main search category filters entities by their area of specialisation, with 26 categories identified in all.

The new search engine is an excellent way to identify potential collaborators and synergise with companies that share common interests. Entities will now have clearer insights into what each other is doing in the Park.  It will also enable the Park to offer events better geared towards the interests and specialist areas of the Community.

All the information to be able to allocate companies to each sector, subsector and area of specialisation has been provided by the entities through the following form: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Keywords_PCB_2022.

The form remains open for those submissions still pending.
