The Parc Científic Barcelona (PCB) is situated in Barcelona's “Gateway to Knowledge”, one of the most active scientific, technical and economic hubs in the country. This zone encompasses the Diagonal Campus of the UB, the North and South campuses of the UPC, the Parc Tecnològic de Barcelona (Technology Park of Barcelona), the institutes of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC, Spanish Council for Scientific Research) (including the Institute of Molecular Biology of Barcelona and the Institute of Chemical and Environmental Research of Barcelona “Josep Pascual Vila”), the Advanced School of Business Administration and Management and the Faculty of Law ESADE – part of the Universitat Ramon Llull (Ramon Llull University) – and the Hospital de Sant Joan de Déu, among others. |
