New developments in internal waste management

In recent months, the PCB has promoted several improvements to its waste collection and billing circuits, to make the service more agile and efficient and to continuously improve.

  • The general waste collection points distributed throughout the buildings have new signage that facilitates the correct separation of each material. Remember that only waste made up of a single material can be recycled.
  • A cardboard compactor has been installed in the Cluster II courtyard to make daily collection easier and allow us to obtain higher quality materials for manufacturing new ones.
  • A new computer app has been set up to record the collection of laboratory waste, streamline the service and simplify the management of delivery notes.

Correct waste separation is key to increasing its reuse and recovery. With everyone’s collaboration, we can increase recovery rates, improve the quality of recovered materials, and strengthen our shared commitment to sustainability and the circular economy.
