Catalonia has a rich and varied natural heritage, and it’s in danger. The accelerated loss of biodiversity, the degradation of key ecosystems and the increase in risks associated with climate change have direct effects on the health, safety and well-being of citizens, as well as the economic activity that they depend on.

Taking advantage of 8 March being International Women’s Day, we propose a reading of the reflections of 4 women who highlight the urgent need for responses and changes in how we protect nature and new approaches to our economic activities. Well-argued, to-the-point conversations for these moments of crisis and confusion we are experiencing.
