A new open-air museum a few meters from the PCB

An open-air museum known as the Geological Garden has just been opened in front of the UB Faculty of Earth Sciences. The museum has several educational and informative spaces exhibiting natural materials, along with exhibition pieces and informative elements related to geology and Earth sciences.

The museum space is divided into four sections that allow you to delve deeper into various topics about the geological evolution of the Planet Earth throughout its 4.576 billion years: ”Geological time”; “The Earth”; “The geological section”, and “Geological resources”. The project seeks to bring the teaching and research that takes place with the faculty to street level.

We invite you to walk through this new site designed to connect university and neighbourhood as it popularises science among students and residents of all ages.
