It’s the landscape’s time to shine… And it’s not to be missed!

If summer is synonymous with sun and sand, autumn is the time of crimson forests, chestnuts and wild mushrooms.

A few kilometres from our doorstep, we can find a wide variety of natural habitats and ecosystems of incredible value, ideal for enjoying autumn. Castles, chapels, caves, multicoloured forests, mountains, deserted beaches and lakes… endless places to discover or revisit. Before the short days and cold of winter arrive, let’s take the opportunity to be outdoors and discover the landscapes around us.

Regular contact with nature improves people’s health and well-being. Open spaces allow you to get exercise, relax and recover from stress, learn new things and spend time with family and old friends, as well as the new ones we make along the way.

There are a myriad of easily consulted ideas, routes and suggestions for enjoying your leisure time in natural spaces. The Barcelona Provincial Council Natural Parks Network is just one example of a source of information, but don’t hesitate to go out in search of the many others available.
