El m\u00e9todo combina t\u00e9cnicas experimentales con t\u00e9cnicas de aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico y la teor\u00eda de la transmisi\u00f3n de se\u00f1ales. El estudio, publicado en la revista Nucleic Acids Research, es clave para futuras investigaciones sobre c\u00f3mo las alteraciones en la estructura de la cromatina pueden influir en la aparici\u00f3n de enfermedades.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El ADN, la mol\u00e9cula que contiene la informaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica de todos los seres vivos, est\u00e1 empaquetado en las c\u00e9lulas de una manera compleja que le permite funcionar eficientemente. Los nucleosomas permiten la compactaci\u00f3n del ADN y juegan un papel crucial en la regulaci\u00f3n de la expresi\u00f3n g\u00e9nica y otros procesos biol\u00f3gicos.<\/p>\n<p>El modelo desarrollado por el equipo del <strong>Dr. Modesto Orozco<\/strong> utiliza informaci\u00f3n de la secuencia del ADN y caracter\u00edsticas f\u00edsicas no solo para reproducir datos experimentales, sino tambi\u00e9n para predecir la ubicaci\u00f3n de los nucleosomas de manera m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida y precisa. \u00abNuestro modelo es comparable en precisi\u00f3n a los m\u00e9todos experimentales m\u00e1s avanzados\u00bb, comenta el investigador, jefe del laboratorio de Modelizaci\u00f3n Molecular y Bioinform\u00e1tica del IRB Barcelona y Catedr\u00e1tico de la Universidad de Barcelona.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Implicaciones para la regulaci\u00f3n g\u00e9nica y la biomedicina<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>El estudio demuestra que la arquitectura de los nucleosomas est\u00e1 fuertemente influenciada por la secuencia de ADN y se\u00f1ales f\u00edsicas que emergen de los extremos de los genes.
