Decidir cu\u00e1ndo, d\u00f3nde y c\u00f3mo se activa un f\u00e1rmaco. Estas son algunas de las metas que se espera alcanzar con las llamadas mol\u00e9culas fotoconmutables, unos compuestos que, en presencia de determinadas ondas de luz, cambian sus propiedades. Hoy, gracias a los resultados de una investigaci\u00f3n liderada por el IBEC\u00a0junto a la UAB, la comunidad cient\u00edfica est\u00e1 m\u00e1s cerca de lograrlo.<\/p>\n<p>Por primera vez los cient\u00edficos han podido activar, con una eficiencia de casi el 100% y utilizando l\u00e1seres de luz infrarroja, mol\u00e9culas fotoconmutables localizadas en el interior del tejido neuronal. \u201cSe trata de un desarrollo que abre la puerta a un gran n\u00famero de aplicaciones.
