La actividad desregulada del receptor est\u00e1 relacionada directamente con los procesos de carcinog\u00e9nesis de la gl\u00e1ndula prost\u00e1tica. Por ello, \u00abla resoluci\u00f3n de su estructura tridimensional es un paso esencial para diagnosticar y pronosticar el c\u00e1ncer de pr\u00f3stata, as\u00ed como para monitorizar la resistencia a los medicamentos de los pacientes afectados por esta enfermedad\u00bb, apunta Eva Est\u00e9banez Perpi\u00f1\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>El receptor androg\u00e9nico ha sido y sigue siendo la diana central de la lucha contra el c\u00e1ncer de pr\u00f3stata.
