La herramienta tambi\u00e9n ofrece informaci\u00f3n sobre por qu\u00e9 es tan dif\u00edcil encontrar una vacuna para el sida, y un v\u00eddeo en el que pacientes y expertos dan su opini\u00f3n sobre aspectos tales como si se tendr\u00eda que fomentar m\u00e1s la prevenci\u00f3n o si se tendr\u00edan que hacer m\u00e1s pruebas de detecci\u00f3n. El m\u00f3dulo tiene, adem\u00e1s, una secci\u00f3n dedicada a \u00abRecursos para educadores\u00bb en el que se ofrecen el protocolo de experimentos en torno a la vacuna, juegos de cartas para fomentar debates en el aula y gu\u00edas educativas. <\/p>\n<p>  Los nuevos contenidos est\u00e1n en l\u00ednea con el Programa de Divulgaci\u00f3n y Prevenci\u00f3n del Sida que IrsiCaixa y la Obra Social \u00abla Caixa\u00bb impulsan desde el 2010 con el convencimiento de que la divulgaci\u00f3n de contenidos cient\u00edficos que tratan esta tem\u00e1tica puede contribuir a la prevenci\u00f3n. Ambos programas van dirigidos principalmente a estudiantes de secundaria de entre 15 y 18 a\u00f1os, a pesar de que tambi\u00e9n pueden ser de utilidad para la organizaci\u00f3n de actividades educativas a cargo de entidades de la sociedad civil. <\/p>\n<p> Xplore Health es un portal educativo europeo sobre investigaci\u00f3n biom\u00e9dica que ofrece contenidos multimedia innovadores y actividades para j\u00f3venes a trav\u00e9s de Internet, escuelas y museos de ciencias. El programa est\u00e1 dirigido a profesores y estudiantes, y estructurado en m\u00f3dulos tem\u00e1ticos que giran en torno a \u00e1reas relacionadas con la investigaci\u00f3n actual, como el desarrollo de f\u00e1rmacos, la gen\u00f3mica, la biotecnolog\u00eda, el c\u00e1ncer, la malaria y el sida. <\/p>\n<p>El portal naci\u00f3 con la voluntad de ampliar la oferta de divulgaci\u00f3n que ofrece el Parc Cient\u00edfic de Barcelona en el marco de su programa &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pcb.ub.edu\/homePCB\/live\/es\/p200.asp\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"email\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Investigaci\u00f3n en Sociedad<\/a>&#8216;, que engloba 120 actividades anuales dirigidas a 4.500 personas. <\/p>\n<p> El proyecto se desarrolla mediante un consorcio europeo, coordinado por el PCB, e integrado tambi\u00e9n por el Centre of the Cell (Universidad de Londres) y dos redes europeas que coordinan las actividades presenciales: la European School Net, que engloba m\u00e1s de 30.000 escuelas de m\u00e1s de 30 pa\u00edses, y la European Network of Science Centres and Museums (ECSITE), que integra m\u00e1s de 400 museos de ciencia.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hoy se ha publicado en el portal educativo europeo <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xplorehealth.eu\/es\/quienes-somos#id1\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"email\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Xplore Health<\/a> \u2013 liderado por el Parc Cient\u00edfic de Barcelona (PCB)\u2013 un nuevo m\u00f3dulo sobre VIH\/sida, elaborado conjuntamente por el PCB y el Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n del Sida IrsiCaixa con la colaboraci\u00f3n de la Obra Social \u00abla Caixa\u00bb.
