Este programa se centra en la investigaci\u00f3n traslacional orientada a la prevenci\u00f3n, el diagn\u00f3stico y el tratamiento de estas enfermedades, con el objetivo de reducir su impacto en las poblaciones m\u00e1s vulnerables. Desde un enfoque multidisciplinar, los grupos impulsan el desarrollo de nuevas herramientas terap\u00e9uticas, vacunas y estrategias de control, en colaboraci\u00f3n con instituciones internacionales y pa\u00edses end\u00e9micos para avanzar en la mejora de la salud global.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Durante el \u00faltimo Coffee Connection, entrevistamos a su investigadora <strong>Ruth Aguilar<\/strong>, coordinadora del servicio de Respuesta Inmune y Biomarcadores, para conocer de cerca la investigaci\u00f3n de su equipo y c\u00f3mo su trayectoria a lo largo de los a\u00f1os les ha llevado a ampliar horizontes. A trav\u00e9s de diversas colaboraciones, el grupo de Inmunolog\u00eda de la Malaria ha extendido su experiencia al estudio de otras infecciones.<\/p>\n<p>Mediante el uso de tecnolog\u00edas como ELISA, xMAP Luminex y la prote\u00f3mica dirigida con OLINK (Certified International Core Lab), el equipo puede analizar con gran precisi\u00f3n la respuesta inmune e identificar biomarcadores relevantes en distintas patolog\u00edas. Esta capacidad ha permitido consolidar una plataforma tecnol\u00f3gica transversal que da soporte a la investigaci\u00f3n biom\u00e9dica en m\u00faltiples \u00e1mbitos.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abComo llevamos muchos a\u00f1os trabajando tanto en el estudio de biomarcadores en enfermedades como en el an\u00e1lisis de las respuestas inmunes, y utilizamos tecnolog\u00edas de alto rendimiento que permiten trabajar con vol\u00famenes de muestra muy peque\u00f1os y generan datos de alta calidad, aprovechamos este conocimiento para crear una plataforma que puede dar soporte transversal a la investigaci\u00f3n biom\u00e9dica en distintos \u00e1mbitos y tipos de enfermedades, especialmente en el estudio de los niveles de anticuerpos y su funcionalidad\u00bb, explica
