Estas prestigiosas ayudas est\u00e1n destinadas a j\u00f3venes cient\u00edficos que lideran proyectos de excelencia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La investigadora<strong> Irene Hernando-Herr\u00e1ez<\/strong>, l\u00edder del <a href=\"https:\/\/ibmb.csic.es\/en\/department-of-structural-and-molecular-biology\/epigenetics-and-single-cell-dynamics\/#lab-people\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">grupo de Epigenetics and Single Cell Dynamics del IBMB<\/a>, estudiar\u00e1, a partir de c\u00e9lulas madre musculares, c\u00f3mo la capacidad de proliferaci\u00f3n celular influye en sus funciones y comportamiento. Para ello, se analizar\u00e1n las marcas moleculares que determinan la identidad celular y que pueden perderse con el tiempo. Por ejemplo, se examinar\u00e1 si las c\u00e9lulas que se dividen con mayor frecuencia conservan estas marcas o, por el contrario, las pierden.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl objetivo principal del proyecto es revelar los mecanismos que gobiernan la p\u00e9rdida de funci\u00f3n celular con la edad\u201d, se\u00f1ala <strong>Hernando-Herr\u00e1ez<\/strong>. \u201cEncontrar la relaci\u00f3n entre las diferentes alteraciones moleculares y funcionales nos ayudar\u00e1 a explorar estrategias que puedan prevenir o revertir el envejecimiento\u201d, a\u00f1ade.<\/p>\n<p>El IBMB es un centro de investigaci\u00f3n del CSIC dedicado al estudio de la biolog\u00eda molecular, la bioqu\u00edmica y la biomedicina.
