Este galard\u00f3n, uno de los m\u00e1s importantes de Espa\u00f1a, reconoce la trayectoria de investigadores que han realizado aportaciones significativas y de impacto internacional en su campo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El jurado de los Premios Jaume I, que incluye a 20 Premios Nobel entre sus miembros, ha destacado la \u00abinvestigaci\u00f3n innovadora de la Dra. L\u00f3pez-Bigas sobre el origen y la evoluci\u00f3n de las mutaciones del c\u00e1ncer y el desarrollo de herramientas para su estudio\u00bb. En el IRB Barcelona, la investigaci\u00f3n de la Dra. L\u00f3pez-Bigas se centra en la identificaci\u00f3n de mutaciones y genes causantes del c\u00e1ncer y en la comprensi\u00f3n de los procesos mutacionales que conducen a la acumulaci\u00f3n de mutaciones en las c\u00e9lulas cancerosas. Su trabajo es fundamental para descifrar c\u00f3mo se desarrollan los tumores y c\u00f3mo evolucionan a lo largo del tiempo, abriendo nuevas v\u00edas de pr\u00e1ctica cl\u00ednica en oncolog\u00eda personalizada.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abRecibir el Premio Rei Jaume I de Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica es un gran honor y una enorme alegr\u00eda. Es tambi\u00e9n un reconocimiento al esfuerzo y dedicaci\u00f3n de todo mi equipo a lo largo de los a\u00f1os, sin su talento y compromiso no habr\u00edamos avanzado tanto en el conocimiento de los mecanismos que subyacen al c\u00e1ncer\u00bb, ha declarado la <strong>Dra. L\u00f3pez-Bigas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Trayectoria reconocida<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Este galard\u00f3n se suma a una lista de reconocimientos obtenidos por la <strong>Dra.
