Christophe Deluz wins the PCB artistic contest

The artistic contest for realizing an exterior mural at Barcelona Science Park has a winner: Christophe Deluz, with “Cachalote” (Sperm Whale), a huge and very colorful artwork, full of dynamism, that will decorate an exterior space of the Cluster II building, accessible to all users of PCB. That was the members of the jury decision, gathered on the 11th of June, after studying 18 candidacies.

 

Christophe Deluz will receive a 5.000€ dotation to realice the work. He’s a graphic and textile designer. Graduate in Visual Communication at Brussels École de Recherche Graphique, he has worked for many international companies and painted some mural works in Barcelona City.

The jury of the contest was formed by Àlex Susanna, art director of the Fundació Vila Casas; Sergio Vila-San Juan, cultural journalist and writer, María Terrades, CEO of PCB; Anna Serra, director of commercialization and communication at PCB; Anna Mezquita, architect in construction manager at PCB and Toni Moreno, common scientific services technique at PCB.
