ZBM Patents offers improved access to PCB-Santander Bioincubator services

Zea, Barlocci & Markvardsen Patents (), an industrial property consultancy, has signed an agreement with the PCB-Santander Bioincubator. Under the new deal companies involved in the project, which is jointly backed by the Barcelona Science Park (PCB), the Fundació Bosch i Gimpera and the Banco Santander, will gain special access conditions to the services offered by the Bioincubator.

ZBM Patents —who have an office in the PCB— works in the fields of pharmacology, chemistry, biotechnology, mechanics, electronics and IT. The services that they offer include: patentability studies; studies of infraction risk analysis and validity of patents; the drawing up and processing of patents; and global utility models. They also provide expert judgements.

The company also takes part in different educational initiatives involving training related to intellectual property, such as the Magister Lucentinus at the University of Alicante, the Competition Law and Intellectual Property course at the ESADE Business School in Barcelona, courses organized by the Patents Centre of the University of Barcelona, and the Spanish national course for the European Qualifying Examination.
