Fabi\u00e3o Santos<\/a>, head of R&D at Kriba<\/a>, explains how his innovative technology is revolutionising the field of medical screening. At Kriba, his main goal is to make early detection and monitoring of infections in liquids globally accessible, a breakthrough that could change the future of medicine.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are working on a pioneering medical device that allows leukocyte counting at the cellular level, non-invasively, quickly and in real time,\u201d said Santos. Using artificial intelligence, this device can operate autonomously, allowing healthcare professionals to make quick, life-saving decisions.<\/p>\n

Right now, Kriba is in a market entry phase with a key application: prevention of dialysis-associated peritonitis. This goal not only promises to significantly impact the quality of life of patients, but also aims to capture the attention and confidence of investors in order to introduce other solutions for diseases such as meningitis and ovarian infections.<\/p>\n

Santos also stressed the importance of collaboration at the PCB: \u201cHere we have an opportunity to connect with experts and other companies that are closer to the market. It’s a mutual learning process,\u201d he said. Events such as the Coffee Connection or PCBeers facilitate networking and collaboration with other companies, a synergy that for Kriba is fundamental on its path to success.<\/p>\n
