{"id":98537,"date":"2024-10-08T11:41:55","date_gmt":"2024-10-08T09:41:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pcb.ub.edu\/?p=98537"},"modified":"2024-10-09T11:49:34","modified_gmt":"2024-10-09T09:49:34","slug":"xenopat-partners-with-inaphaea-biolabs-to-improve-preclinical-trials-in-oncology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pcb.ub.edu\/en\/xenopat-partners-with-inaphaea-biolabs-to-improve-preclinical-trials-in-oncology\/","title":{"rendered":"Xenopat partners with Inaphaea BioLabs to improve preclinical trials in oncology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcb.ub.edu\/en\/empresa\/xenopat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Xenopat<\/strong><\/a><strong>, based in the Parc Cient\u00edfic de Barcelona and specialising in services focused on the development of personalised oncology treatments from the basic preclinical to post-commercial phases, has entered into a strategic agreement with <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inaphaea.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Inaphaea<\/strong><\/a><strong> to incorporate the British company&#8217;s extensive biobank into its <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/xenopat.com\/advanced-preclinical-services\/orthoxenobank\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>OrthoXenoBank<\/strong><\/a><strong> platform.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The partnership will give Xenopat access to the more than 470 patient-derived cells (PDCs) in the biobank of Inaphaea BioLabs, a subsidiary company of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.valirx.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ValiRx Plc<\/a>. Xenopat will be able to use these PDCs in its <a href=\"http:\/\/xenopat.com\/advanced-preclinical-services\/orthoxenografts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Xenograft<\/a> models and to expand preclinical testing capabilities in the field of oncology.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur new partnership with Inaphaea is an important step for the growth of both companies.
