{"id":65605,"date":"2021-07-19T15:02:14","date_gmt":"2021-07-19T13:02:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pcb.ub.edu\/gate2brain-winer-of-the-barcelona-activa-pre-acceleration-programme\/"},"modified":"2021-08-04T12:10:22","modified_gmt":"2021-08-04T11:10:22","slug":"gate2brain-winer-of-the-barcelona-activa-pre-acceleration-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pcb.ub.edu\/en\/gate2brain-winer-of-the-barcelona-activa-pre-acceleration-programme\/","title":{"rendered":"Gate2Brain, wins the 7th edition of the Barcelona Activa Pre-Acceleration programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcb.ub.edu\/en\/empresa\/gate2brain-s-l\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gate2Brain<\/a>, based in the Barcelona Science Park, has won the 7th edition of the <a href=\"https:\/\/emprenedoria.barcelonactiva.cat\/emprenedoria\/en\/incubacio\/programa\/Preacceleracio.jsp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Barcelona Activa Pre-Acceleration Program<\/a>, an initiative to support entrepreneurial projects with a high technological impact.\u00a0 With this recognition, the company -a spin-off from the Institute for Research in Biomedicine (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcb.ub.edu\/en\/empresa\/institut-de-recerca-biomedica-irb-barcelona\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IRB Barcelona<\/a>), the University of Barcelona (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ub.edu\/web\/ub\/en\/index.html?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UB<\/a>) and the Sant Joan de D\u00e9u Research Institute (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.irsjd.org\/ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IRSJD<\/a>)- Hospital Sant Joan de D\u00e9u (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sjdhospitalbarcelona.org\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SJD<\/a>) &#8211; will be awarded \u20ac 5,000 and an acceleration process in the <a href=\"https:\/\/emprenedoria.barcelonactiva.cat\/emprenedoria\/en\/incubacio\/incubadores\/MediaTic_Incubadora_Barcelona.jsp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MediaTIC Incubator<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.barcelonactiva.cat\/en\/get-to-know-barcelona-activa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Barcelona Activa<\/a> has accompanied Gate2Brain together with 9 other companies in the 7th edition of its pre-acceleration program. On Demo day, that was held on July 7th, Gate2Brain along with the other selected companies presented its project to a panel of experts.
