Dr H\u00f6gberg has spent over 45 years in the pharmaceutical industry with experience from big pharma (Astra, AstraZeneca), mid pharma (ALK-Abello, LEO Pharma) and biotech (7TM Pharma) where he headed various departments (medicinal chemistry, chemical research, DMPK, Patent, Project and Portfolio Management). He has had leading roles from early drug discovery to marketed products and worked in several therapeutic areas including dermatology, metabolic diseases, inflammatory diseases, respiratory diseases, CNS diseases, and infection. He has also been engaged in business development and due diligence in in-and outlicensing in several companies.<\/p>\n

Dr H\u00f6gberg earned a PhD in Organic Chemistry from\u00a0Uppsala University<\/a>\u00a0(Sweden) and is Assoc Prof at the\u00a0KTH Royal Institute of Technology<\/a>\u00a0in Stockholm and Fellow of the\u00a0Royal Society of Chemistry<\/a>\u00a0(CChem, FRSC). In the scientific arena, he has published over 100 papers and book chapters and is the co-inventor on over 50 patent applications.<\/p>\n

In addition to his experience in the market, Mind the Byte founder and CEO Dr Alfons Nonell-Canals highlights that, “His experience in chairing management evaluation and prioritisation teams will surely help us build a strong new team in Scandinavia.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mind the Byte is one of the 245 members of\u00a0Medicon Valle Alliance<\/a>, a membership organization in the Danish-Swedish life science cluster Medicon Valley<\/a>, which is a part of Greater Copenhagen.<\/p>\n

Recently, Mind the Byte also appointed\u00a0Prof Peter Edman<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Dr Jos\u00e9 Luis Cabero<\/a>\u00a0to its Advisory Board.
