Students will be paid for their practicum classes of \u00abSpend the Summer at the Park!\u00bb program, which will be be conducted at institutes, companies and technological platforms\u00a0at PCB in the fields of biomedicine, biotechnology or chemistry, as well as in areas related to social sciences and humanities. The duration of the program will be two to three months between July and September. Upon completion of the program, participants will receive a certificate of achievement from the PCB.<\/p>\n

This year is the fifteenth\u00a0consecutive year that the Parc Cient\u00edfic de Barcelona promotes this initiative. About 350 students have participated in previous editions and over 1000 applications were received. According to surveys assessing the program, students and tutors who took part in the programs, are very satisfied with the results from the collaboration initiative, as confirmed by the fact that participants still keep in touch with the research group they worked with once their internship was over.<\/p>\n

Starting today, June 6, applications are being accepted to take part in the internship program Spend the Summer at the Park!, aimed at students doing theirs master\u00b4s degree or in their final year of their bachelor’s degree. The aim of this initiative, organized by the Parc Cientific de Barcelona (PCB), is to bring research closer to young students from any university in the world through their participation in projects undertaken at PCB.
