{"id":50161,"date":"2015-05-14T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-05-13T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pcb.ub.edu\/open-application-period-for-the-antoni-caparros-and-senen-vilaro-awards-2015\/"},"modified":"2020-11-18T15:22:34","modified_gmt":"2020-11-18T14:22:34","slug":"open-application-period-for-the-antoni-caparros-and-senen-vilaro-awards-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pcb.ub.edu\/en\/open-application-period-for-the-antoni-caparros-and-senen-vilaro-awards-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"Open application period for the Antoni Caparr\u00f3s and Sen\u00e9n Vilar\u00f3 Awards 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Antoni Caparr\u00f3s and Sen\u00e9n Vilar\u00f3 Awards seek to encourage the transfer of knowledge acquired through studies and research; to appreciate the importance of technology, knowledge and innovation transfer projects; to enhance the creation of innovative knowledge-based companies; to recognise the innovative capacity generated, and to promote entrepreneurial culture at universities.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014, the\u00a0Sen\u00e9n Vilar\u00f3 Prize\u00a0for the best innovative company has been conferred on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/endornanotech.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Endor Nanotechnologies<\/a>,\u00a0a biotechnology company based at PCB.<\/p>\n<p>The company <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sirusa.es\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SIRUSA<\/a> and the UB research group Design and Optimization of Processes and Materials (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.diopma.es\/\">DIOPMA<\/a>) have developed a twenty-year collaboration which received the\u00a0Antoni Caparr\u00f3s Prize\u00a0for the best project of knowledge transfer.
