Shadows<\/em>, the winning photograph of the competition – awarded with a Tablet – was obtained at the axis of connections of the Cluster Building of the Barcelona Science Park and captures in an artistic way, through a play of shadows, the activity that takes place in the park. The jury has assessed its visual impact, technical quality and scientific content. “It’s a spontaneous photo and the result of teamwork. We were about to have lunch and the play of shadows caught our eye and served as inspiration right there. Here we saw the opportunity to reflect the work of our day to day”, explains Nat\u00e0lia P\u00e9rez, author of the image.<\/p>\n

Mirada fotogr\u00e0fica<\/em>\u00a0(Photographic Gaze) by Amparo Prades has won\u00a0an accesit\u00a0award\u00a0for its originality, artistic quality and poetic content. This photo plays with the vanishing point, flat textures and pale colors in order to convey an environment of tranquility in a space where networking is usually done. “The depth of the image gives a feeling of relaxation. The stress generated by our professions requires us, from time to time, to stop, look and enjoy everything that is around us”, says Amparo Prades.<\/p>\n

A total of 65 photographs have been presented by staff associated with research institutes, companies, technology platforms and other entities present at the Barcelona Science Park.<\/p>\n

The winners have been chosen by a multidisciplinary jury composed of representatives and scientists working at the park as well as professionals in communication and graphic design who have praised and valued originality, visual impact and artistic and technical quality.<\/p>\n

All the photographs can be seen on the plasma screens that are at the reception halls of the Cluster and Towers R & D+ I buildings. They can also be accessed on Instagram under the label\u00a0#undialpcb2016<\/a>: www.instagram.com\/explore\/tags\/undiaalpcb2016<\/a><\/p>\n
