CNAG has completed Roche\u2019s rigorous training program to receive this certification ensuring that consistent and robust results can be achieved using Roche\u2019s sample preparation products.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Roche\u2019s SeqCap EZ Target Enrichment technology has been a powerful tool in this process, helping us to fully exploit the most important content of the genome,\u201d said Marta Gut, Head of CNAG Sequencing Unit.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis alliance will help researchers to experiment with a variety of applications and designs without a large investment, and have greater confidence in the results provided,\u201d said Neil Gunn, Head of Roche Sequencing Solutions.<\/p>\n
The CNAG is a non-profit organization funded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness and the Catalan Government through the Economy and Knowledge Department and the Health Department. Competitive grants and contractual research with the private sector provide additional funds. Since 1st July 2015 the CNAG is integrated with the Center for Genomic Regulation (CRG).<\/p>\n
The CNAG was created in 2009 with the mission to carry out projects in DNA sequencing and analysis in collaboration with researchers from Catalonia, Spain and from the international research community. The Sequencing Unit manages a large park of last-generation sequencing systems, which positions the CNAG as one of the top European centers in terms of sequencing capacity.<\/p>\n
