The Catalan association\u00a0will do so through its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cataloniabioht.org\/news\/ca-en-el-grup-de-treball-du2019internacionalitzac\/\" style=\"font-weight: 200\">Internationalisation Workgroup<\/a>, which was launched recently.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Angel Alonso, vice-president of CataloniaBioHT and CEO of\u00a0Vecmedical, explained that this agreement will \u201cstrengthen institutional ties and provide a good opportunity to bring the innovative companies of CataloniaBioHT to the world\u2019s top biomedical ecosystem.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For his part, MassMEDIC President\u00a0Bryan Johnson\u00a0says \u201cWe are thrilled to continue the important work of building bridges with our international counterparts across the globe. Our agreement with CataloniaBioHT is the beginning of a critical relationship for our shared ecosystems. Much like Massachusetts, the Catalonia region has a rich history of medical advancements and healthcare institutions that are a model for the rest of the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>CataloniaBioHT\u00a0was created in 2017 through\u00a0<a data-link=\"internal\" href=\"https:\/\/cataloniabioht.org\/news\/ca-es-presenta-cataloniabio-amp-healthtech-en-pre\">the merger of CataloniaBio and the HealthTech Cluster<\/a>.
