BES is organized by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ebdgroup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">EBD Group<\/a>,\u00a0in collaboration with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bio.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Biotechnology Industry Organization<\/a>\u00a0(BIO).<\/p>\n<p>The event \u2013which was held in Barcelona in 2010 and 2013\u2013\u00a0attracts more than 2,000 delegates each year from roughly fifty countries and more than 1,300 companies from the biopharmaceutical, biotechnology and financial sectors.<\/p>\n<p>The highlight of the event is the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ebdgroup.com\/bes\/partnering\/index.php?carousel_staple\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">one-to-one<\/a>\u00a0meetings, but it also features\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ebdgroup.com\/bes\/program\/index.php?carousel_staple\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">workshops<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ebdgroup.com\/bes\/presenters\/prs_comps.php?carousel_staple\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">company presentations<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0panel discussions on different topics including business development and funding,<\/p>\n<p>Biocat, like previous editions, will have a booth (number #35),\u00a0which will be available to members of the BioRegion of Catalonia as a point of contact and to distribute promotional materials.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Follow the latest news on the fair on Twitter with the hashtag\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%23bes2016&amp;src=typd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#BES2016<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The sixteenth edition of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ebdgroup.com\/bes\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BIO-Europe Spring<\/a>\u00a0(BES), the main springtime partnering conference of the sector, takes place this year in Stockholm from 4th to 6th April.
