{"id":49455,"date":"2019-11-04T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-11-03T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pcb.ub.edu\/spanish-science-and-technology-parks-met-in-las-palmas\/"},"modified":"2020-11-18T14:55:16","modified_gmt":"2020-11-18T13:55:16","slug":"spanish-science-and-technology-parks-met-in-las-palmas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pcb.ub.edu\/en\/spanish-science-and-technology-parks-met-in-las-palmas\/","title":{"rendered":"Spanish science and technology parks met in Las Palmas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Canarian Science and Technology Park Foundation of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fpct.ulpgc.es\/en\/about-us.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FCPCT<\/a>)\u00a0hosted the Annual Assembly of the Spanish Association of Science and Technology Parks (APTE) for the first time, which last Thursday brought together representatives of the 64 science and technology parks that belong to the association.<\/p>\n<p>One of the most important agreements adopted at the meeting was the creation of a working group to implement the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations in all APTE member parks. In this second APTE General Assembly of 2019,\u00a0it was also agreed to sign an agreement with Telef\u00f3nica for the creation of a blockchain network, which substantially improves the service that the parks offer to the companies they host. The agreement with Telef\u00f3nica includes an initial three-month trial period.<\/p>\n<p>After Thursday&#8217;s workday, representatives of APTE member science and technology parks visited the Spanish Bank of Algae (<a href=\"http:\/\/marinebiotechnology.org\/index.php?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BEA<\/a>) on Friday &#8211; a national R&amp;D&amp;I service managed by the Canarian Science and Technology Park Foundation \u2013as well as the facilities of the University Institute of Aquaculture and Sustainable Marine Ecosystems (<a href=\"http:\/\/ecoaqua.ulpgc.es\/en\/ecoaqua\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IU-ECOAQUA<\/a>) in Taliarte.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u25ba <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pcb.ub.edu\/portal\/en\/noticies\/-\/noticia\/not_el-parc-cientific-de-barcelona-manifesta-el-seu-compromis-amb-els-objectius-de-desenvolupament-sostenible?backURL=%2Fportal%2Fca%2Fel-pcb%23sala-premsa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Related News [+]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Representatives of 64 Spanish science and technology parks met on 24 and 25 October in Gran Canaria as part of the second annual assembly of the Spanish Association of Science and Technology Parks (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.apte.org\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">APTE<\/a>).
