The director of the PCB, Fernando Albericio, took up a vice-presidency position, together with the rector of the Pompeu Fabra University, Josep Joan Moreso, and the director of Sanofi-Aventis in Spain, Bel\u00e9n Garijo. <\/p>\n<p> The members of the Forum also elected the representatives who, together with those of the <i>Generalitat de Catalunya<\/i> and the Barcelona City Council, will make up the Board of Trustees of the BioRegion of Catalonia Foundation. In this regard, a total of 17 trustees were selected, among these the rector of the <i>Universitat de Barcelona<\/i>, M\u00e0rius Rubiralta; the president of CataloniaBio and director of Oryzon genomics, Carlos Buesa \u2013both members of the Executive Committee\u2013, and the vice-president of this business association and director of Advancell, Llu\u00eds Ruiz. <\/p>\n<p> The Forum will promote relations between the organizations that participate in the BioRegion of Catalonia and will also collaborate in the same. &#8220;The Forum must become the &#8220;nerve tissue&#8221; of the BioRegion, the setting for debate and discussion, and a lobby that supports the interests of the sector&#8221;, commented Joan Cornet, president of the Executive  Committee of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bioregiocat.net\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"email\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BioRegion of Catalonia<\/a>.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The <i>Parc Cient\u00edfic de Barcelona<\/i> (PCB, Barcelona Science Park) is a member of the Governing Board of the BioRegion of Catalonia <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bioregiocat.net\/bioregio_cms\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=49&amp;Itemid=68&amp;lang=es_CA\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"email\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Forum<\/a>.
