Among the more than 190 activities (free of charge) organized for the “2006 Entrepreneur Day”<\/a>, the technology offer at the PCB, specifically the biotechnology platforms, will be presented at the “Knowledge Transfer Point”, which converges research, innovation, entrepreneurs and the business sector to identify research solutions for this sector. Furthermore, on Tuesday 30 May at 10.30 h, the Fundaci\u00f3 Bosch i Gimpera<\/i> has organized a conference entitled “From research to the market: giving value to technology”, which will involve the director of the UB Patents Centre, Pascual Segura; the director of the Innovation Centre (FBG-UB), Carme Verdaguer; and the director of the ICFO-UPC, Llu\u00eds Torn\u00e9. On Wednesday 31 May at 16 h, the director of the Agency for the Valorisation and Commercialisation of Research Results (AVCRI), Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Palacios, will give a seminar on trends in the field of health. <\/p>\n

The programme also includes sessions devoted to funding, in which institutions and funding organizations will explain funding sources and how to attain financing; information to provide practical solutions for the daily activities of the entrepreneur; workshops for skill development in the field of innovation, and seminars on trends, among other activities. <\/p>\n

Furthermore, the “2006 Entrepreneur Day”<\/a> will include an initiative called the “ofert\u00f2drom”, which will present institutional offers for entrepreneurs; with proposals to establish top level contacts with the aim to boost innovation and growth, such as “Connecta VIP”; in addition to “Entrepreneur Night” in which the 8th Barcelona Awards for Entrepreneurship will be presented. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
