The placements in the “Spend the summer in the Park” programme can be done in groups conducting research in a wide range of fields, from biomedicine, biotechnology and chemistry to fields related to social and human sciences. Placements last two months, and are done between July and September. After completion of the placement, students receive a certificate from the PCB. <\/p>\n

More that 130 students from a total of 300 applications have participated in this initiative in previous years. According to the programme evaluation questionnaires, students and tutors that have participated have expressed their satisfaction with this collaborative project. This satisfaction is reflected in the continued relation that students have maintained with the groups in which they did their placements. In particular, more than 40% of the students who did a placement last summer have kept in touch with their group. <\/p>\n
