Set up by researchers from the Faculty of Biology jointly with a professor from the University of Seville, this company specializes in the research into and development of biological control agents such as fungicides to fight crop diseases while respecting the environment.  <\/p>\n<p> Through the Barcelona Prizes for Entrepreneurial Activity, the Local Development Agency for the city, Barcelona Activa, wishes acknowledges entrepreneurial sprit, its contribution to economic growth and to the creation of employment opportunities. These prizes are included in the events held to mark \u00abEntrepreneur Day\u00bb, an initiative promoted this year by the Barcelona City Council, the Ministry of Industry, the Dept. of Employment and Industry of the Generalitat de Catalunya (Regional Government) and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The biotech enterprises Advancell, Crystax Pharmaceuticals and Oryzon genomics have been awarded the Business Cooperation Prize for their development of the Neurocure project.
