\t\t\tThe round table organized by the PCB will be held on Monday 29 th November and aims to make a comparative analysis of a number of science parks and to identify the good management practices and strategy definition of these kinds of centres. The round table will include the participation of representatives from the PCB, the Heidelberg Science Park, and the Manchester Science Park. <\/p>\n

Moreover, the SIMS seminars, a joint initiative of the Barcelona Biomecial Alliance, the UPF and the IESE, seek to facilitate the design of a programme to improve the biotech industry in Spain and Europe through training. In these seminars, the director of the PCB, M\u00e0rius Rubiralta, will give a presentation on the mechanisms of technology transfer and the structures that allow the scientist to develop into an entrepreneur. In this regard, this seminar will also include the participation of Carlos Buesa, director of the spin-off company Oryzon genomics. <\/p>\n

Biospain 2004 will bring together more than five hundred scientists, entrepreneurs, institutions and investors from the biotech sector with the aim to disseminate and compare Spanish experiences in the development of bio-enterprises, technology transfer, acquisition of resources and investment funds, technology platforms and science parks. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
