\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\tThe agreement has been signed by Alvaro Enrique Thomas, ambassador of Panama in Spain, and Felipe Romera, president of APTE, at the headquarters of Andalusia’s Technology Park. Notable guests to this event included Jos\u00e9 Lu\u00eds P\u00e9rez Salinas, general sub-director of knowledge transfer and valuation of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, Susana Guitar, general director of research, technology and enterprise of the Department of Economics, Innovation and Science of the Xunta de Andalusia, Baldomero Rodiles-San Miguel, consul of Panama, and the consuls of Austria, Morocco, Lithonia, Canada, Poland and Ecuador, Francesc Berj\u00f3n, first vicepresident of APTE and Joan Bellavista, president of the APTE’s Internationalization Commission, and others. <\/p>\n
During the event Felipe Romera underscored the importance of this agreement, which embodies an important step in providing support to the internationalization of companies in parks, given that being innovative is not enough. \u00c1lvaro Enrique Thomas also emphasized that the development of this type of agreements that enable Panama universities to innovate is a priority to Panama’s government, in addition to offering Spanish companies the opportunity to enter Panama’s market. <\/p>\n
The signing of this agreement has been endorsed by the Ministry of Science and Innovation. Jos\u00e9 Lu\u00eds P\u00e9rez Salinas, general sub-director of the Ministry’s Knowledge Transfer and Valuation department has highlighted that the nature of this agreement is the result of a private initiative, but is aligned with the strategy promoted by the Ministry. The general director of Research, Technology and Enterprise of the Department of Economics, Innovation and Science, Susana Guitar, in representation of the Xunta de Andalusia, has also emphasized the relationship that his agreement establishes between business internationalization and technological development. <\/p>\n
The Apte is an association comprising Spanish science and technology parks that carries out activities in three intervention lines: promotion, development and dissemination of Spanish science and technology parks; promotion of business collaboration and promotion of technology and knowledge transfer between companies and research and development (R+D) infrastructures. The national authority for government innovation (AIG) is the competent entity of Panama that plans, coordinates, provides rules and guidelines, supervises, collaborates, supports and promotes the optimal use of information and communication technologies in the government sector in order to modernize public management, as well as recommending the adoption of national strategic policies, plans and actions relating to this matter. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
