SSM2<\/a>) a summer school jointly organized by the Barcelona Science Park and the Toulouse Cancer Campus in order to expand the training of university and post-doctoral students in the development process of new drugs. The first edition was held in Barcelona and the SSM2 will take place in Toulouse, but includes visits to centres that promote innovation and companies from the pharmaceutical sector in both countries. For this reason, in this year’s programme attendees are projected to visit the Barcelona Science Park and some of the biotech firms it accommodates. <\/p>\n The creation of this school is an initiative that emerged within the framework of the Spain-France dialogue forum, composed of members from the civil society of both countries.
