\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\tThe delegation has visited the PCB accompanied by Adela Farr\u00e9, director of Biocat’s Strategic Communication, and has been greeted by the general director of the Barcelona Science Park, Fernando Albericio, who has given a general presentation of the project and its technological offer. The meeting has also included the presentation of the research activities conducted by two biotech companies located at the PCB: Omnia Molecular, which carries out research in the field of human health, and Ninsar Agrosciences, dedicated to the vegetable biotechnology sector, as well as a guided visit to some of the laboratories of companies that comprise the PCB-Santander Bioincubator, located in the Helix Building, and to the research Institutes accommodated by the PCB. <\/p>\n
Over the course of this week, the Senate\u00b4s Commission of Health in Catalonia has also visited other centers of excellence that promote research and innovation, such as the Sincrotr\u00f3 Alba, the Clinical Hospital, the August Pi i Sunyer Institute of Biomedical Research (IDIBAPS) and the Center for Research in International Health (CRESIB). After their visit to the PCB, the delegation is forecasted to visit the Barcelona Supercomputing Center and the Oryzon biotech, which was part of the first generation of companies that participated in the Bioincubator project of the Barcelona Science Park. <\/p>\n
During their stay in Barcelona, which ends today, and within the framework of this visit, the senators have also been able to speak with representatives of the Catalan government, such as the minister of Health of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Marina Geli, the secretary of Strategy and Coordination of the department of Health of the Generalitat, Miquel G\u00f3mez, and Joan Roca, general director of Research of the Department of Innovation, University and Enterprise, as well as with the president of Biocat’s Executive Commission, Manel Balcells. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
