\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\tBiocontrol Technologies, a company specialised in the isolation, development and production of natural microorganisms for use as biological control agents against the cultures of diseases, was created in 2004 as a spin-off derived from the University of Barcelona as a result of the joint collaboration between two research groups from the UB and the University of Sevilla. <\/p>\n
The Sen\u00e9n Vilar\u00f3 award, endowed with 10,000 Euros, was created in 2008 by the Bosch i Gimpera Foundation (FBiG) and the Social Council of the University of Barcelona.
