\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\tQualified in journalism, David Trueba (born in 1969, Madrid) is one of the most relevant names in current Spanish cinema. Scriptwriter of films such as Amo tu cama rica<\/i> and Los peores a\u00f1os de nuestra vida<\/i>, by Emilio Mart\u00ednez-L\u00e1zaro; or Too much and La ni\u00f1a de tus ojos<\/i>, directed by Fernando Trueba, David Trueba made his debut as a producer with the film La buena vida<\/i> (1996). After he directed Obra maestra<\/i> (2000) and then Soldados de Salamina<\/i> (2002), a candidate in the coming Oscar awards. <\/p>\n
David Trueba is also the author of the following novels: Abierto toda la noche<\/i> (1995), Cuatro amigos<\/i> (1999) and the book of essays Tragarse la lengua y otros art\u00edculos de ocasi\u00f3n<\/i> (2003). In addition, he has collaborated in several communication media and codirected with Gran Wyoming El Peor Programa de la Semana<\/i>. <\/p>\n
The Spanish Cinema Committee has held two previous meetings, in which Jos\u00e9 Luis Borau and Jos\u00e9 Luis Guer\u00edn participated.
