The collaboration of the Bosch i Gimpera Foundation is carried out by means of the \u00abProtection and Commercialisation of Technologies\u00bb capsule. It is an assessment space created by the FBG, framed within the \u00abGrowth Capsules\u00bb, a set of sessions that help analyse the keys to improving the company and aiding its growth. This year, Lurdes Jordi, consultant of the Business Centre (ACE) of the FBG, and Lidia Casas, from the UB Patent Centre, will share existing formulas to protect and commercialise research results of small technology-based companies or research centres. The conference will take place on May 20 at 5 p.m. <\/p>\n
The \u00abDay of the Entrepreneur\u00bb is aimed at people with a business project and at those who, having created their own business, are seeking new ideas and instruments to boost its growth. Last year’s edition drew close to 5,600 participants and 39 collaborating organisations and facilitated over 1,000 business opportunities. <\/p>\n
This year’s edition presents a programme comprised of over 120 activities, amongst which the most usual spaces are highlighted: \u00abVIP Connect\u00bb, \u00abGet Advised\u00bb and \u00abFace to Face\u00bb, and other innovative initiatives, such as the \u00abExplain Youself\u00bb,space where the entrepreneur will have the chance to assess his\/her idea and even to create a publicity campaign using Google Adwords- or the “\u00abMake a Proposal\u00bb space, where the entrepreneur can liaise with public companies to exchange potential future collaboration proposals in detail. <\/p>\n
The \u00abDay of the Entrepreneur\u00bb is supported by a committee formed by Barcelona Activa, the Local Development Agency of the Barcelona City Council, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Barcelona; the Centre for Business Innovation and Development (CIDEM) of the Generalitat of Catalonia; the Directorate General for Small and Medium Enterprise, the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade; La Caixa, and the Consortium of Zona Franca.
